Brittany’s lioness mane matches her energetic and wild personality: fun, fabulous and fierce. More than ever, she appreciates her naturally curly hair …especially after harsh chemical damage during the first two years of high school. Dryness, extreme breakage, and costly touch-ups were just some of the many reasons Brittany discontinued relaxing her hair. Now, she’s been “Living No Lye” for seven years. Brittany enjoys her hair in its natural state. With her busy schedule, it’s very stylish and easy to maintain.
Her career as a TV host/reporter began in her hometown of Cleveland, OH at ABC’s News Channel 5, where she worked as an intern and interviewer for their investigative department. In addition, she hosted and produced a self-titled radio/TV show on her college campus, “The Brittany Show”. Brittany was soon recruited by Miami, Florida’s WBFS TV “On the Mike with Mike Sherman”, a weekly syndicated show focusing on music and entertainment. Before long, she was co-hosting Super Bowl XLIV exclusive parties, galas and other red carpet events. Finally, Brittany moved to Atlanta in May of 2010 where she works as a co-host for “Living No Lye: A Natural Hair Journey” and a celebrity personal assistant for popular hip-hop artist, Roscoe Dash, most known for both hit club songs: “All the way turnt up” and “Show out”.
On the rise…….from none other than the WONDERFUL “Peach State of Georgia”, a shining STAR was born, Miss Rian Parish. Talented Actress, graceful Dancer, and one who has been known to “rock” the mic, she is blazing the road to stardom.
It comes as no surprise that the young up and coming phenom would soon blossom in the entertainment industry. Her bubbly personality, charisma, and quick wit make her the go to girl for hosting, emceeing, and interviewing. Rian has honed skills in every facet of the entertainment industry from behind the camera as a hairstylist and makeup artist, to owning scenes in television, film, and music video productions. Her future plans are to become an acclaimed actress. Hollywood dreams are also a family affair, as her children are active in the acting and modeling industries. From mom to “it girl”, Miss Rian Parrish is definitely on her way.
Parish on why she decided to go natural:
“For me, it was having mastered all styles from classy to funky on my hair, including the unthinkable and I felt going natural was my next avenue. I figured if I could achieve the same styles and effect as I could with chemicals in my hair then, WHY NOT?”
Eccentric…Eclectic…Creative…Hardworking and Determined to Succeed are a few choice words to describe Erica. Erica Lashae Adams was born in Newark, New Jersey, but was raised in a small town in the south, Thomasville, GA. Being raised in a small town didn’t distract Erica from having BIG dreams. After completing high school, she attended and graduated from Albany State University (ASU). While attending ASU, Erica got the chance to experience a trip of a lifetime, in which she studied abroad in Nairobi, Kenya. After her trip to Africa, Erica decided to transition to natural hair. Going natural has allowed Erica to express herself and show that she is multi-dimensional. And as an added bonus, it’s been low maintenance on her hair care and styling.
In 2008, Erica moved to Atlanta to pursue one of her passions…modeling. She has been involved in numerous fashion shows and photo shoots in GA and NY, and has appeared in music videos. Recently she had a chance to appear in the filming of a movie titled “Single Ladies” starring Lisa Raye, Stacy Dash, and rapper Common. Now she has been given the opportunity to work with “Living No Lye: A Natural Hair Journey,” where she will be a co-host. Erica feels opportunities are endless when you strive for them, and likes to go by the saying “If you DREAM IT…YOU CAN BELIEVE IT…THEREFORE U CAN ACHIEVE IT!!!”
